This is the sound of a sheet metal that is under high tension, hitting it with a small key produced a laser fire type of sound. Recorded using a contact mic as the area is surrounded by a lot of noise, the contact mic cut out everything. The recording was taken at my place of work so it would be easy should anyone require the "shots" to be re-recorded at a different tempo. 96khz 24bit mono-mix.

I made this weird sound in fl studio. I don't remember what synth i used to make the sound, but the rhythm was made using a gross beat preset. I hope you like it!.

This was made as more of a sifi air rifle rather than a "laser" pistol. However it can still work both ways. The track has three sound effects. They all have a "similar" sound but some very in pitch or tempo.

Used audacity to make a chirp sound, i think it's sine-sawtooth. Pretty easy thing. Nothing to lose from it being mp3. It's a pretty dirtily made sound.

File i recorded while at work on a telephone pole. I found a span of the steel cable they string between the poles that hold phone lines or cable lines. But this was just the bare span and nothing touching it. If you hit them with a wrench they make weird laser gun sounds. Recorded with my phone and cleaned up a bit in audacity. Use as you please. I took a gunshot, put a little bit of flanger on it and then rolled off the highs of an explosion and layered that underneath. I also added a few other effects to give it that fluttery sound in the end.

A laser noise created for my science fiction sitcom. The base was just a note from a vst synth (i can't remember which) and then a variety of pitch shifts, time stretches and layers of reverb until it sounded right.

I made this sound by tapping a coca cola bottle with a crappy mono microphone and used various effects to make it sound cool. Probably good for all you game makers out there.

These are a series of gunshots that are supposed to resemble a laser sort of weapon, like an alien weapon. To make this, i used a filter that has a vocoder, polyvox, and talkbox, with distortion added. The initial sound i'm making is a chirping with my mouth and the filter does the rest. I think this works well on its own but it should work well mixed in with another sound effect if you choose to mix it. There is no reverb added or environment effects so its very flexible. Feel free to use it however you like. Credit is appreciated but not necessary. If you do want to give credit, please give credit to cooljunk productions. Thank you.
